Ruth C. Kimball

Gilford------Mrs. Ruth C. Kimball, 86, of 257 Dockham Shore Road, died at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, April 24, 2003. She was the widow of Lorimer "Bud" D. Kimball who died in 1999.

Mrs. Kimball was born July 15, 1916 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Hodnut) Griffin. She was a graduate of Everett (MA) High School and lived in Wakefield, MA for many years. In 1980, she moved to Gilford, NH.

Mrs. Kimball was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport, NH. She was a supporter of the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing Alumni.

Mrs. Kimball was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Anne Kimball, of Quincy, MA; two sons, David D. Kimball and Robert P. Kimball both of Gilford, NH; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Rose Griffin, of Malden, MA; and many nephews, nieces and grand nephews and grand nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, John F. Kimball in 1991.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday, April 28, 2003 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Lakeport, NH. Rev. George Soberick, Pastor of the church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Lakeport, NH 03246.
