Winnisquam--------Mrs. Donna L. York, 50, of Winnisquam, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Thursday, April 17, 2003. She was the widow of John W. York who died March 21, 2003.
Mrs. York was born February 26, 1953 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Howard and Shirley (Pike) Marden. She was a lifetime resident of the Lakes Region and was employed at Dutton Manufacturing.
Survivors include two sons, Jeremy J. York of Lakeport, James M. York of Sanbornton; two grandchildren, Ashley Cote and Alan Cote both of Lakeport; a sister, Linda E. White of Winnisquam; a brother, Michael Marden of Laconia; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Cori York.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 8:00PM also at the Funeral Home. Rev. George Hankins-Hull, Spiritual Care Coordinator at the Lakes Region General Hospital, will officiate.
