Gilford-----Elizabeth Streit, 88, of 90 Edgewater Drive, Governor’s Island, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Monday, April 10, 2006.
Mrs. Streit was born January 24, 1918 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Fritz and Elizabeth M. (Romberg) Gienandt.
Mrs. Streit was a graduate of Radcliffe College, Cambridge, MA.
She served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Streit of Arlington, MA and Phillip Streit of Laguna Niguel, CA; a daughter, Patricia Yagoda-Streit, of Clearwater, Florida; three grandchildren; a sister, Helen Mugar, of Gloucester, MA and several nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
