Wakefield, MA-----Josephine Terravecchia, 79, of 18 Quannapowitt Avenue, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH on Saturday, April 8, 2006. Mrs. Terravecchia was the widow of Peter Terravecchia who died April 13, 1981.
Mrs. Terravecchia was born November 5, 1926 in Boston’s West End, MA, the daughter of Pasquale and Maria (Ianello) Consolo. She was loved by all who met her.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur Terravecchia and his wife, Barbara, of Laconia, NH and Salvatore Peter Terravecchia of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Rosalie Bobroff, of Peabody, MA; two grandchildren, Rosalie Michaud of Belmont, NH and Andrea Terravecchia of Laconia, NH; two brothers, Frank Consolo of Whitman, MA and John Consolo of Melrose, MA; a sister, Nina Alessi, of Greenwood, MA and many nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of thirty-one years, Peter Terravecchia; by a son, Paul Terravecchia; by two brothers, Mello Consolo and Guy Consolo and by two sisters, Mary DeMaggio and Natalie Grasso.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Noon at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion Street, Wakefield, MA.
Burial will precede the Mass on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 11:00AM at the Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell St., Wakefield, MA.
