Laconia-----Jeanette Kolb, 82, of   435 Union Avenue, Taylor Home Community and formerly of 429 Gilford Avenue, Gilford died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, April 23, 2007.  Mrs. Kolb was the widow of Calvin C. Kolb who died in 1990.

Mrs. Kolb was born September 19, 1924 in West Falmouth, Massachusetts, the daughter of Warren and MaryJane (MacKenzie) Bowman. She was a graduate of Bryant-Stratton College in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Kolb had been a resident of Gilford,  since 1951.  She was an assistant administrator at the Taylor Home for twelve years and former secretary at the St. James Church.  She retired in 1990.

Mrs. Kolb was a member and former secretary of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Calvin C. Kolb, Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Gilford, Stephen W. Kolb and his wife, Debbie, of Gilford and Eric S. Kolb and his wife, Donna, of Nottingham; a daughter, Candace Laughlin, of Port Royal, Kentucky; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Richard W. Bowman, of West Falmouth, Massachusetts and two nephews and three nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 10:00AM at the First United Methodist Church, 500 Gilford Avenue, Gilford, NH.  Rev. Dr. Victoria Wood Parrish, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 500 Gilford Avenue, Gilford, NH 03249.
