Meredith----Mary B. Blake, 88, of 23 Gould Ave. and formerly of 15 Corliss Hill Road died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Friday, April 27, 2007. She was the widow of Millard Blake who died in 1975.

Mrs. Blake was born January 23, 1919 in Meredith, the daughter of Walter H. and Susie M. (Guard) Corliss. She was a life long resident of Meredith.

Mrs. Blake owned and operated the Lake View Farm all of her life. She also owned and operated Blakes Country Store in Meredith for 8 years and was a nurses-aide for a short time.

Mary will be remembered fondly as a loving, caring and generous person by her surviving sister, Harriot, and brothers, Abraham,Walter and Daniel  and other relatives and friends.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 2:30 PM at Green Grove Cemetery, Ashland.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, N.C. 28607-3000.
