Laconia-----Ida M. Decormier, 94, formerly of 25 Union Ave and Genesis Eldercare died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, on Friday, April 13, 2007.  She was the widow of Oliver J. Decormier, Sr.  She had been a resident of Genesis Eldercare Laconia Network since 2003.

Mrs. Decormier was born March 30, 1913 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Louis E. & Josephine Bilodeau (Martel). She was a life long resident of Laconia and was a waitress.

Mrs. Decormier was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

Survivors include three sons, Oliver ‘Sonny’ Decormier, Jr. and his wife, Carol, Robert “Bert” Decormier and his wife, Claire, and Roger Decormier and his wife, Jackie, all of Laconia; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by twelve brothers and four sisters.

There will be no calling hours

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 18, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beeane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery later this spring.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
