Dracut, Mass.-----Frances M. Lessor-Peavey, 96, of Dracut, Massachusetts, died at the Saints Memorial Medical Center, Lowell, Massachusetts on Wednesday, May 2, 2007.  She was the widow of Harry J. Peavey, Jr. who died in 1998.

Mrs. Peavey was born May 17, 1910 in Meriden, Connecticut, the daughter of John Edward and Margaret V. (Skinner) Watts.

Mrs. Peavey lived in New Hampshire for many years before moving to Dracut fifty years ago.  She was employed at the Magown Educator Food Co. for several years.

Mrs. Peavey was a communicant of St. Francis Church, Dracut, Massachusetts.

Survivors include a daughter, Yvonne Lessor LaBarre, of Venice, Florida; five grandchildren, Linda Dyer, Edward LaBarre, Glenn LaBarre, Todd LaBarre and Luann Chapman; seven great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. 

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 1:00PM at the family lot in Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia, NH.
