Laconia----Toni Lynn Grigg, 52, of Laconia died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, on Thursday, April 30, 2009.
Ms. Grigg was born August 25, 1956 in Gastonia, N.C., the daughter of William E. and Betty (Worley) Grigg.
Ms. Grigg lived in Westerly, R. I. before moving to Laconia four years ago. She was employed as a social worker.
Ms. Grigg was a talented seamstress and cook. She enjoyed her family, her grandkids and the New Hampshire scenery.
Ms. Grigg is survived by two sons, Christopher T. Smith of Laconia and Philip D. Smith and his wife, Cara, of North Kingstown, R. I.; a daughter, Karen R. (Smith) Foshay and her husband, Johnee, of Stonington, Conn.; three grandchildren, Kobe, Miriam and Levi; a brother, William Grigg, Jr. of Sevierville, Tenn. and two sisters, Cathy Parrish of Rock Hill, S. C. and Sue Abernethy of Conover, N. C. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 12:30 to 2:30 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.
A Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2:30PM also at the Funeral Home. Pastor James Morel, pastor of the New Covenant Christian Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Academy St. A reception will immediately follow the burial at 150 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
