Gilford, NH-------Mrs. Irene M. Ludwig, 72, of 2761 Lake Shore Road, Unit #31, Gilford, NH and Windham, NH died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH on Thursday, August 28, 2003.
Mrs. Ludwig was born August 11, 1931 in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of Stanley & Antonia (Kalinowski) Seltenraich.
Mrs. Ludwig graduated from the University of Lowell and the American Institute of Banking. She lived in Lawrence, MA for many years before moving to the Lakes Region Area five years ago. While living in Lawrence, MA., she tutored in the English as a second language program. Prior to her retirement, she was an Assistant Vice President of the Arlington Trust Company. After moving to the Lakes Region, she volunteered at the Lakes Region General Hospital Quilting Guild.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Joseph Ludwig of Gilford, with whom she resided during the summer and Kenneth Ludwig and his wife, Virigina of Lexington, MA; a daughter, Kathleen Lebel and her husband, Denis of Lawrence, MA; two grandchildren, Lindsay Ludwig and Jonathan Ludwig both of Lexington, MA; three sisters, Anna Corrente and Helen Kliska both of Lawrence, MA and Stella Pas of North Andover, MA as well as a loyal friend, Richard Forde of Windham, NH.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the family lot in Cemetery On The Plain, Ministerial Road, Windham, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc. 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246
