Hazel E. Jonah

Burlington, Vermont--------Hazel E. Jonah, 92, formerly of Essex Jct., VT and Laconia, NH, died at the Fletcher Allen Hospital, Burlington, VT on Wednesday, July 28, 2004. She was the widow of Harley H. Jonah who died in 1986.

Mrs. Jonah was born July 7, 1912 in Bloomfield, Vermont, the daughter of Christopher C. and Blanche Belle (Lurvey) Graham. She was a former resident of Barre, Vermont and had formerly lived in Connecticut and was employed by Pratt & Whitney.

Survivors include two sisters and two brothers, Harriette Barriteau of Long Island, NY, Carmelita Lang of E. Hartford, CT, Reginald Graham, of Burlington, VT and Edmund Graham of Colchester, VT. and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Richard H. Jonah, in October, 1992, by her sisters and brothers, Marion Scott, Charlotte Cook, Elsina LaFontaine Thomas Graham, Earl Graham.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 2:00PM at the family lot in Fairview Cemetery, Old Mill Road, Stratford, NH.
