Antoinette "Toni" Eastman

Winnisquam------Antoinette "Toni" ( Thompson) Eastman, 78, of 97 Sunset Drive, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Wednesday, August 11, 2004.

Mrs. Eastman was born May 21, 1926 in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH the daughter of Maro and Cordelia (Carpenter) Thompson. She lived in Gilford, NH where she and her husband owned and operated the Sunny Slope Poultry Farm for twenty-four years. She moved to Winnisquam twenty-eight years ago.

Mrs. Eastman was a member of the Married Farmers Association. She was a former Sunday School Teacher, Brownie and 4H leader. Toni loved the company of family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, Clifford C. Eastman, of Winnisquam, NH; two daughters, Carol Eastman, of Laconia, NH and Sylvia Fabian and her husband, Paul, of Moses Lake, Washington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Neil A. & Candy Eastman of Laconia, NH and Richard E. & Sandy Eastman of Auburn, Alabama; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Russell, of Gilmanton Iron Works, NH and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, a grandson and a great granddaughter.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A private funeral service and a private burial will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Home. 406 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246 or to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
