Meredith------Clifford G. Moore, Jr. 70 of 208 Chemung Road, Meredith, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Saturday August 27, 2005.
Mr. Moore was born January 6, 1935 in Laconia the son of Clifford G. and Marion (Helms) Moore, Sr. He had been a resident of Meredith for over 45 years. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Mr. Moore was a truck driver and had been employed over the years by W.F. Richards & Son, TiltonSand & Gravel and Person’s Concrete.
Mr. Moore was a member of Griggs-Wyatt American Legion Post #33 of Meredith.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years Patricia (Jones) Moore of Meredith; a daughter Dina Moore Barros of Meredith; 3 sons Danny Moore of Virg., Daryl Moore of Meredith and Daron Moore of Virg.; 4 grand-daughters; 3 brothers Donald Moore and Eugene Moore both of Laconia, Wayne Moore of Belmont; 5 sisters Barbara Monahan of Laconia, Dorothy Morey of Townsend, MA, Charlotte Welch of Sandwich, Paula Ellsworth of Gilford and Lois Chase of Laconia; many nephews and nieces. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Nancy Moore in 1961 and by 3 brothers Richard Moore, Charles “Bud” Moore and Gerald Moore.
There are no public calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Meredith Center Wednesday August 31, 2005 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Meredith Public Nursing Association 45 NH Route 25, Meredith, NH 03253.
The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
