Belmont----------William “Bill” R. Perrier, 57, of 386 Bean Hill Road, died at the LRGHealthcare on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Bill was born in Concord, NH on October 3, 1947, the son of Thomas and Warma (Renfors) Perrier. He lived most of his life in the Lakes Region. A graduate of Laconia High School, he went on to receive a degree in engineering from Franklin Institute in Boston in 1968.
He worked for the Federal Government (SBA) disaster efforts for many years and later became a local entrepreneur of several business ventures. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman and had a great love for the outdoors. He was best known for his humor and generosity.
Bill is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Claire (Drouin) Perrier, of Belmont; his daughter, Samantha Hanover; two grandsons, Eric and Bryce Hanover; a sister, Carol “Chip” Blaisdell, and many very dear family members, friends and partners. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Warma (Renfors) Perrier, of Laconia and by a brother, Tom, of Belmont.
Per Bill’s request, there will be no calling hours or service.
