Gilford-----Helen G. Boggs, 83, of 103 Blueberry Hill Lane, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Mrs. Boggs was the widow of Wendell A. Boggs who died in 2002.
Mrs. Boggs was born February 24, 1922 in Natick, MA, the daughter of Frank and Roxannah (Gage) Houghton. She lived in Lynnfield, MA for many years before moving to Gilford thirty-eight years ago.
Mrs. Boggs was a member of the Gilford Community Church and a past president of the Laconia Garden Club.
Survivors include three sons, Wendell A. Boggs II of Peabody, MA, Jeffrey H. Boggs of Gilford and Gary D. Boggs, of Barre, MA and four grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Gilford Community Church, Potter Hill Road, Gilford on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 9:30AM. Rev. Michael Graham, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow at 2:00PM in the family lot at Lakeview Cemetery, Commonwealth Road (Rte. 30) Wayland, Massachusetts.
