Laconia----Jeannette V. (Levesque) Roy, 71, formerly of 25 Union Avenue, died at the Genesis Eldercare Network, Laconia Center, on Thursday, August 11, 2005.
She was the widow of Eugene J. Roy, Sr. who died in 1990.
Mrs. Roy was born November 29, 1933 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Joseph J. and Bernadette Levesque.
She lived in Manchester for thirty years before moving to Laconia in 1976. She was a certified nurse’s assistant and worked at the Maple Leaf Health Care Center in Manchester and the Belknap County Nursing Home and McKerley’s Nursing Home in Laconia.
Survivors include a son, Normand Roy, of Cannon City, Colorado; two daughters, Janet Roy, formerly of Manchester, NH and Rose Marie Scott of Severn, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Private 2nd Class, U.S. Army Infantry, Brodie Kio and Private 2nd Class, U. S. Army Infantry, Patrick Kio; Katherine Scott and Waidian Rose Scott; two brothers, Normand Levesque of Florida and Nashua, NH and Richard Levesque of Nashua, NH; a sister, Cecile Cote, of Nashua, NH and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Eugene J. Roy, Jr., in 1990.
There will no calling hours.
Funeral Services will be private. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
