Tilton-----Lora Lynn Stirling, 51, of 380 West Main Street, died at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Sunday, August 20, 2006.
Mrs. Stirling was born April 28, 1955 in Laconia, NH,
the daughter of Russell V. and Laverne (Myhand) Weeks.
Mrs. Stirling lived in Concord, NH for several years before moving to Tilton a year ago. She was employed at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for ten years, retiring in 1992. Mrs. Stirling was a massage therapist and owner of Dragon Tales in Laconia. She also owned a catering business and was a seer and a healer and practiced Runes and tarot cards. She also enjoyed working and playing with computers.
Survivors include three sons, Jacob Taylor and his wife, Stephanie, of Laconia, Joshua Taylor of Laconia and James “Jimmy” Taylor II of Gilford; six grandchildren, Justin K. Taylor of Grafton, NH, Brooklynn Miller, Jordan Miller, Meggan Miller and Brinne O’Neal all of Laconia and Johnathon Olvera of Illinois; her mother, Laverne Weeks, of Franklin; a brother, Joseph Weeks of Florida; three sisters, Linda Deware, of Belmont, NH, Debra Jo Hickey of Worcester, MA and Dawn Landry of Laconia, NH; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her father, Russell V. Weeks.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2006 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 8:00PM also at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the family lot in Beech Grove Cemetery, Gilmanton, NH.
