Alice M. Little

Laconia----Alice M. Little, 87, of 195 Sandhurst Drive, died at the St. Francis Home on Thursday, August 30, 2007.

Mrs. Little was born June 26, 1920 in Laconia, New Hampshire the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Morin) Dauphin. 

Mrs. Little was a lifelong resident of Laconia.  She was a seamstress and was owner of Eva’s Dress Shop’s and was manager of the women’s department at Lynch’s in Laconia for many years.

Mrs. Little was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.  She enjoyed bowing, golfing and crafts. 

Mrs. Little greeted everyone with her ‘million dollar smile”. Survivors include her husband of  thirty years, Bernard R. Little, of Laconia;  three sons, Raymond Marceau, Roland Marceau and Roger Marceau all of Laconia; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Dauphin, of Sun City, Florida and many nephews and nieces. 
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Little is predeceased by her first husband Louis Marceau who died in 1974, two brothers, Henry Dauphin and Armand Dauphin and by three sisters, Simon Bouchie, Irene Tuttle and Pauline Bisson.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 10:00AM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.  Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Healthcare Center, Resident Patio Fund, 406 Court Street, Laconia N. H. 03246.
