Gilford-----Glenna M. Wright, 71, of 303 Old Lakeshore Road, died at her home on Monday, August 6, 2007.

Mrs. Wright was born February 12, 1936 in Warren, N. H., the daughter of Arthur L. and Shirley (Manion) Hight.

Mrs. Wright resided in Warren all of her life until moving to Gilford eighteen months ago.

Mrs. Wright graduated from Plymouth High School in 1953.  She was employed at Split Ball Bearing in Lebanon, N. H. for over ten years.

Mrs. Wright was a member of the Pytheon Sisters Minerva Temple, Warren.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, Carl Wright, of Gilford; a sister, Marilyn Mello, of Laconia; two nieces, Rae Mello-Andrews and Heidi O’Connor; a nephew, Shawn Mello; her husband’s eight nieces and eight nephews; several grandnieces and grand nephews and her two cats, Mischief and Boots.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Linwood Hight.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2007 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246, the LRGHealthcare N4 Nursing Education Fund, 80 Highland Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246 or to the Gilford Fire Rescue-Rescue Account, 39 Cherry Valley Road, Gilford, NH 03249.
