Franklin-----Mona Ackerman, 77, of 27 Mountain View Drive, died at the Franklin Regional Hospital on Monday, August 24, 2009.

Mona was born July 8, 1932 in Concord, N.H., the daughter of Chester and Carolyn (Miller) Ackerman.

Mona had been a resident of Belmont and graduated from Belmont High School and from the Laconia Business School. She worked at the C.A. Lund Ski Factory in Laconia and at Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Concord. For several years, she had a summer gift shop in New Harbor, Maine.

Mona enjoyed arranging flowers, photography and oil painting.

Mona is survived by her sister, Kay Ackerman, of Franklin and two cousins, Eric Ackerman of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Marve Tiziani of Lancroft, New Jersey.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at noon also at the Funeral Home.

A private family burial will be in the family lot in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hill, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your own local food bank.
