Laconia—Mrs. Rose M. Sallies, 63, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 17, 2002. She was the widow of Donald Sallies.
Mrs. Sallies was born February 2, 1939 in Amesbury, MA, the daughter of Paul R. and Jessie P. (Clay) McCarron. She lived in Deerfield, NH for several years before moving to Laconia, NH twenty years ago. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles, and animals.
Survivors include two sons, James Russell of Epsom, NH and John Russell of Deerfield, NH; a daughter, Teresa Jackson of Pittsfield, NH; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Peter McCarron and Charles McCarron both of Haverhill, MA; two sisters, Marilyn Logan of Washington, D. C. and Elizabeth Moore of Ft. Worth, TX; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her first husband, James Russell, in 1979.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
