Gilford—Mrs. Grace M. Drew, 71, of 320 Old Lake Shore Road, Edge of Woods II, died at her home on Monday, April 15, 2002. She was the widow of Frederick E. Drew who died in 1974.
Mrs. Drew was born May 20, 1930 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Arthur T. and Matilda (Carrier) Dionne and was a life long resident of the Lakes Region. She was a receptionist at the dental office of Dr. Gust for fifteen years, retiring in 1996.
Mrs. Drew was a former member of the Laconia Emblem Club and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Roth of San Diego, CA and Melissa Mansfield, of Laconia; a granddaughter, Hannah Mansfield of Laconia; two brothers, Richard Dionne and Norman Dionne both of Gilford; a sister, Irene Wilson of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Dionne.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 from 7-9 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 18, 2002. Rev. Jonathan MacKenzie, Rector of St. James Episcopal Church will officiate.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, N. H.
