Gilford, NH——-Richard W. Hanson, 70, of 9 Sargent Place, died at his home on Wednesday, April 3, 2002.
Mr. Hanson was born August 4, 1931 in Chelmsford, MA, the son of Ernest W. and Vilma E. (Renstrom) Hanson.
Mr. Hanson lived in Lowell, MA for several years before moving to Gilford, NH 12 years ago. He worked for Russell Lumber Co. for many years.
Survivors include a niece, Brenda Poirier of Nashua, NH and a nephew. He was predeceased by a sister, Astrida Bursey.
There will be no calling hours.
A private funeral service will be held. Burial will be in the family lot in Lowell Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
