Belmont-------Mrs. Alice (Gannon) Belfante, 63, of 5 St. Lawrence Drive, died December 25, 2002 at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia.
Mrs. Belfante was born June 18, 1939 in Everett, MA, the daughter of Joseph and Cary (Lynn) Gannon. She moved from Massachusetts to Belmont, NH 17 years ago. Mrs. Belfante worked for the the Peabody Home in Franklin for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Stan Belfante of Belmont; a son, Stan Belfante, Jr. of Laconia; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Joe Gannon, Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island; and three sisters, Helen DeMatio of Revere, MA, Dorothy (Dot) Dembriso of Lady Lakes, Florida, and Mary Dean of Stoneham, MA.
A Celebration of Mrs. Belfante&Mac226;s life will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2003 from 6-8 PM at her home at 5 St. Lawrence Drive, Belmont, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.
