Belmont, NH------ Robert "Bob" A. Beauregard, Sr., 69, of 16 High Street died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, Wednesday, December 24, 2003.
Mr. Beauregard was born July 7, 1934 in Fitchburg, MA. the son of Lorenzo and Lilly (Halbedel) Beauregard.
Mr. Beauregard had been a resident of Belmont for the past 15 years, coming from Laconia. He was a master mechanic and owned and operated B & T Service on Court Street in Laconia for ten years. He had formerly worked for Pelletier Movers and also for J.B. Maintenance. He loved his grandchildren and was like a grandfather to all. He was always willing to fix the neighbors' bikes.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry A. (Blanchard) Beauregard of Belmont; a son Jeffrey Beauregard and his wife, Katrina, of Jaffrey; 3 daughters, Robin Moran and her husband, Dan, of Derry; Kelly Ballou of Brookline, NH; and Priscilla Chamberlain and her husband, Amos, of Bennington, NH; two step-sons, Peter Hebert and his wife, Cheryl, of Laconia; and Chris Leonard and his wife, Janice, of Graham, WA; 4 step-daughters, Melissa Leonard and her companion, Mark Breton of Belmont, Tammy Mercier and her husband, Jamie, of Laconia; Tracey Hebert of Belmont and Anne Leonard of Manchester; 25 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Richard Beauregard, of Jaffrey; James Beauregard of Fitchburg, MA; and Raymond Beauregard of Tolleson, AZ; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Robert A. Beauregard, Jr.
Calling hours will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH on Saturday, January 17, 2004 from 1:00-3:00PM.
A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, Laconia, in the spring.
