Laconia-----Michael E. Higgins, 36, of 49 Jackson Street, died at his home on Saturday, December 18, 2004.
Mr. Higgins was born October 13, 1968 in Pensacola, Florida, the son of Joseph B. and June W. (Murphy) Higgins.
Mr. Higgins served in the U. S. Army and was a long time resident of Wakefield, MA. Mr. Higgins moved to Laconia, NH five years ago. He was a former corrections officer for the State of New Hampshire at the Laconia Facility and was employed by the Fred Fuller Oil Co.
Survivors include two sons, Michael E. Higgins, Jr. and Jack J. Higgins and a daughter, Kassie Higgins, all of Laconia, NH; his parents, Joseph B. and June W. (Murphy) Higgins, of Laconia, NH and three sisters, Jodi Sardinha and her husband, Mario, both of Laconia, NH; Susan Higgins of Lincoln, Rhode Island and June Higgins of Reading. MA; one nephew and two nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 from 2:00-4:00PM and from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Evangelical Baptist Church, 12 Veterans Square, Laconia, NH on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 11:00AM. Rev. Frank Accardi, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in the family lot at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
