Belmont------Peter J. Poire, 57, of 677 Union Road, Belmont, died at his home on Wednesday, December 8, 2004.
Mr. Poire was born January 1, 1947 in Laconia, NH, the son of Armand L. & Stasia (Uscilka) Poire.
Mr. Poire was a life long resident of Belmont and served in the U. S. Army from 1968-1974.
Mr. Poire was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Belmont, NH.
Mr. Poire was the owner of Pete?s Automotive for more than twenty-five years. He was a licensed pyrotechnician and worked for Atlas Pyro Vision Production.
Mr. Poire was Commander of the Belmont American Legion Post #58 and supervised the Belmont Old Home Day Fireworks Display. His personal motto was "For God and Country"; it is how he lived his life.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Linda M. (Blanchard) Poire of Belmont, NH; two daughters, Trudy L. Brown and her fiance, Keith Fletcher, of Belmont, NH and Tricia L. Beauchesne and her husband, Shawn, of Meredith, NH; three grandchildren, Tabitha Beauchesne and Tate Beauchesne both of Meredith, NH and Kelsey Brown of Belmont, NH; his mother, Stasia (Uscilka) Poire of Belmont, NH; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Ken Magee, of Derry, NH; many nephews and nieces and five cats. He was predeceased by his father, Armand Poire.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 10, 2004 from 2:00-4:00PM and from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH. on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 12:30PM.
Spring burial will be in the family lot at South Road Cemetery, Belmont, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belmont Fire Department, PO Box 837, Belmont, NH 03220.
