Gilmanton Iron Works, NH----Nancy E. (Britt) Maltais, 62, of 117 Middle Route, died at her home on Wednesday, December 14, 2005.
Mrs. Maltais was born June 28, 1943 in Concord, MA, the daughter of Robert F. and Dorothy E. (Bond) Britt.
She lived in Concord, MA for a number of years and graduated from Boston University.
Mrs. Maltais lived in Berlin, CT for a few years where she was the owner of Baby Bargains. She moved to Gilmanton Iron Works, NH sixteen years ago where she ran the Maltais Flower Farm. She was also a healthcare provider for the EFC Lakes Region Community.
Mrs. Maltais was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-one years, Richard R. Maltais of Gilmanton Iron Works, NH; two sons, Richard R. Maltais, Jr. of Gilmanton, NH and Robert B. Maltais of Loudon, NH; two stepchildren, Mark Maltais and Heidi Maltais, both of Connecticut; three grandchildren, Autumn Maltais and Michael Maltais, both of Loudon, NH and Derek Maltais of Connecticut; two brothers, Robert Silva of Virginia and James Silva of New Hampshire; two sisters, Angela Silva of Illinois and Mary Lou Sims of Florida and many nephews and nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 19, 2005 from 2:00-4:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 4:00PM also at the Funeral Home.
Spring Burial will be held in the family lot in Smith Meeting House Cemetery, Gilmanton., NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
