Gilford----Guy E. Trefrey, 54, of 343 Old Lake Shore Road, Gilford, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Friday December 23, 2005.
Mr. Trefrey was born August 28, 1951 in St. Johnsbury, VT the son of Gordon E. and Janet C. (McGraw) Trefrey. He had been a resident of the Lakes Region for the past 40 years. He graduated from Laconia High School in 1971.
Mr. Trefrey had formerly been employed at Carpenter Patterson, Tangent Tool & Stamping and last worked for Stamping Technologies. He was an avid fisherman and loved to cook. He enjoyed camping and carpentry.
Survivors include his wife Linda (Martel) Trefrey of Gilford; a son Guy E. Trefrey, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Gilead, Maine; a daughter Angela Neylon and her husband Gregg of Meredith; a step-son Dana Martel of Gilford; 7 grandchildren Alexis Martel of Meredith, Hali Martel of Meredith, Jakob Neylon of Meredith, Sparrlynn Trefrey of Gilead, Maine, Ashlee Neylon of Gilford, Kaity Neylon of Gilford and Evelyn Martel of Gilford; 3 brothers Gordon E. Trefrey of Manchester, Gerald E. Trefrey of Meredith and Gilman E. Trefrey of Laconia; 3 nephews and 5 nieces. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2005 from 6-8 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A funeral service will be held Thursday December 29, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
