Laconia--- Betty J. Kelly, 82, of 30 County Drive, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Saturday, December 17, 2005.
Mrs. Kelly was born July 31, 1923 in Belmont, NH, the daughter of Fred and Lura (Gray) Patten. Mrs. Kelly lived most of her life in Laconia and was employed at Star Market in Gilford for over twenty-five years. Mrs. Kelly was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was a member and past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, a member of the Laconia Emblem Club #80 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors two sons, Paul A. Leroux, Jr. of Belmont and Roger Leroux of Gilmanton; four daughters, Carol Beebe of Laconia, Rita Morris of Florida, Teresa Beauregard of Belmont and Patty Smith of Sanbornton; twenty-two grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and her fourteen brothers and sisters, Mrs. Kelly was predeceased by her husband, Richard O. Kelly, in 1977 and by two children, Michael Leroux in 1991 and Roberta Berner in 2002.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in the family lot at Sacred Cemetery.
