Manchester---Joel L. Simons, 40, of 715 Union Street, Manchester and formerly of Sanbornton died at his home on Wednesday, December 14, 2005.
Mr. Simons was born June 13, 1965 in Laconia, NH the son of Louis and Pauline (Leighton) Simons. He graduated from Laconia High School in 1983 and had been a resident of Manchester for the last twenty years. He had been employed as a CNA at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson for fifteen years, working until November 10, 2005.
Mr. Simons enjoyed life. He loved to travel and loved cats, especially his cat “Lucky”.
Survivors include his mother, Pauline (Leighton) Simons, of Laconia; two brothers, Ben Simons, of Remsen, New York and Kenny Simons of Laconia; two nephews; two nieces and several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 from 6:00-7:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00PM also at the Funeral Home.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Sanbornton, NH.
