Laconia-----Grace Isabell (Sanborn) Warren of 35 Dolloff Street, died December 30, 2005 at the Lakes Region General Hospital.
Mrs. Warren was born May 31, 1924 in Strafford, Vermont, the daughter of Otis Miller Sanborn and Grace (Perkins) Sanborn. She was raised in Lyme, NH and graduated from Keene State College. She was a teacher in Enfield, NH where she met and married her husband of 56 years, Gilbert F. Warren. After raising five children, she went back to teaching in Laconia where she taught for sixteen years, mainly at Woodland Heights School. For many years, she taught Sunday school at the United Methodist Church in Laconia. She was also a Cub Scout den mother.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert F. Warren, of Laconia; five children, Kathryn G. Warren of Portsmouth, RI, Howard O. Warren of Gilford, NH, Harry O. Warren of Methuen, MA, Milia Ahu of Boulder, CO and Jane L. Warren of Laconia; five grandchildren, Kimmarie Paskins of Dayton, NV, Beth and Meghan Flynn of Methuen, MA, Kate Warren of Gilford and Jayleen Warren of Laconia, NH and one great grandchild, Keela Paskins of Dayton, NV. and one sister, H. Polly Agan of Claremont. She was predeceased by seven brothers and three sisters.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Media Center at Woodland Heights School, 155 Winter Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
