Loudon----Kathleen Ann Kenney, 92, formerly of Kenney Road and Lower Ridge Road, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home, Laconia, NH on Sunday, December 10, 2006 surrounded by her family.  She was the widow of John R. Kenney who died May 21, 1975.

         Mrs. Kenney was born October 18, 1914 in Concord, NH the daughter of George and Addie (Battis) Brown.  She lived in Loudon for many years before moving to Belmont where she lived for 17 years.  In 1997, she moved to Laconia.

         Mrs. Kenney was employed at the Cotton Mill in Pittsfield, NH for many years and also at Globe Manufacturing as a seamstress for 10 years retiring in 1973.  She attended the Family Bible Church in Loudon Ridge.

She was a former member of the Loudon Village Grange and also the Rebekahs, IOOF, Pittsfield, NH.  She enjoyed needle work and dancing

         Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Allan and Mary Kenney of Loudon and Claude and Brenda Kenney of Belmont; four daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Donald Locke of Loudon, Jacquelyn and Charles Eckhardt of Loudon, Lola and Wayne Blais of Lochmere and Ilene and Philip Landry of Greenfield, MA; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Kenney, of Loudon; 25 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Byron Kenney, in 2004.

 There are no calling hours.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 11:00AM at the Family Bible Church, Loudon Ridge Road, Loudon.  Rev. Stephen A. Ludwick, pastor of the church, will officiate.  Burial will follow in the family lot in Loudon Ridge Cemetery, Loudon.
