Sanbornton-----Elizabeth Marie Larson, 79, of 130 Upper Smith Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Monday, December 18, 2006.

         Mrs. Larson was born March 19, 1927 in Tilton, NH, the daughter of John A. and Sadie E. (Brown) Barnes. 

Mrs. Larson was a life long resident of Sanbornton.  She was a bus driver for fifteen years and was employed at Gilford Transportation and Harbour’s Transportation.

         Mrs. Larson was a member of the Winnisquam Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Rebekah’s and the Winnisquam Regional Booster’s.

         Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Alvin L. Larson, of Sanbornton; a daughter, Karen Lee Larson, of Crestview, Florida; two sisters, Phyllis Brooks of  Illinois and Margaret Marchese of Everett, Mass; two sisters-in-law, Hope Barnes of Sanbornton and Gladys Barnes of Tilton and many nieces and nephews.

         According to Mrs. Larson’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Sanbornton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sanbornton Fire Department, PO Box 124, Sanbornton, NH 03269.
