Moultonboro, NH----Victoria Ward Lee, 64, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, died on Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH after a long illness.
Vicky was born in Hinsdale, Illinois on October 22, 1942, the daughter of MacKenzie Ward and Barbara Skelly Ward. She graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri and married David Scott Lee on April 1, 1967 in San Francisco, California.
Most of Vicky’s life was spent as a loving homemaker, fundraiser and volunteer in Acton, Massachusetts. She and her family moved to Moultonborough, New Hampshire in 1991, where she enjoyed living in the Lakes Region and spending time with family and friends, working on her art projects, gardening and reading.
Victoria is survived by her husband, David Scott Lee of Moultonboro; two children, Jennifer Lee Miller of Annapolis, Maryland, and Scott MacKenzie Lee of Wakefield, Massachusetts; two granddaughters, Emily Miller and Alexis Lee; two sisters, Nonie Kern of Bozeman, Montana and Barbara DeFuniak of Michigan City, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held in the spring in Moultonborough, New Hampshire.
