Belmont-----Elizabeth “Lib” A. Salta, 76, of 70 Church Street, died at her home on Monday, December 11, 2006.

She was the widow of Nicholas C. Salta who died March 18, 2001. Mrs. Salta was born September 13, 1930 in Worcester, MA, the daughter of Thomas and Rhea (Chestnut) Barrett. She graduated from Laconia High School and had been a resident of Belmont for forty-five years.

Survivors include a son, Barry Salta, of Belmont; two daughters, Nickie (Salta) Lindquist of Londonderry and Kris (Salta) Lahey of Laconia; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Pat Lyman, of Gilford and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Barrett.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
