Belmont-----Mrs. Arlene Ellsworth Parent, 88, of Mill Street, died Monday, February 3, 2003 at Genesis Eldercare Network, Laconia Center. She was the widow of Leon Parent who died in 1964.
Mrs. Parent was born June 21, 1914 in Gilmanton, NH, the daughter of Lester and Alice (Gilman) Ellsworth. She was a long time resident of Belmont and worked at the Belmont Hosiery Mill for many years, retiring in 1977. Mrs. Parent was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews, including Frank E. Ellsworth of Bangor, Maine and Mark Ellsworth of Belmont, NH. Mrs. Parent was predeceased by her eleven brothers and sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Arlene E. Parent of Mill Street, will be held on Monday, May 5, 2003 at 10:00AM at the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
