Laconia-----Mrs. Dorothy M. Bowles, 66, of 50 Cottage Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2003.
Mrs. Bowles was born March 17, 1936 in Laconia, NH the daughter of Wilfred J. and Delia M. (Fortier) Lamontange. She was a life long resident of Laconia. She worked for M & E Manufacturing for 8 years and for Franklin Brush for 14 years.
Mrs. Bowles is survived by two sons, Myron O. Bowles, Jr. of Laconia and Michael L. Bowles of Belmont; a daughter, Donna M. Ardine of Belmont; 6 grandchildren; a brother, Henry J. "Mike" Lamontange of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Myron O. Bowles, Sr., who died in 1998.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2003 at 11:00AM in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110 or the American Heart Association, Heart Gifts Processing Center, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
