Belmont-----Mrs. Cora M. Brown, 57, of 88 Old State Road, Belmont, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Friday February 28, 2003. She was the widow of Floyd J. Brown who died in 2000.
Mrs. Brown was born August 6, 1945 in Laconia, NH the daughter of Herbert and Helena (Boissoneault) Smith. She had lived in Belmont for many years.
Survivors include 2 daughters Tammy Smith of Meredith and Kim and her husband Mike Reule of Belmont; 2 grandchildren Trisha and Tommy; brothers and sisters Herbert Smith, Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla., Wayne Smith of Laconia, Jean Smith of Meredith, Dennis Smith of Tilton, Eugene Smith of Northfield and Judy Turcotte of Laconia; several nephews and nieces and other loved ones.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from Noon to 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM following the callings hours at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Fisher Pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Sanbornton will officiate.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Noon at Union Cemetery, Sanbornton, NH.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lakes Region Adult Day Health Care, 17A Church Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
