Laconia----Mrs. Doris P. Ford 83, of 31 Old Prescott Hill Road, Laconia, died at the Lakes Regional General Hospital, Laconia Saturday, February 15, 2003.
Mrs. Ford was born March 5, 1919 in Montpelier, VT. The daughter of Erwin and Beatrice (Haggett) Lane. She had lived in Laconia most of her life.
Mrs. Ford was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Laconia-Gilford for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years Olin A. Ford of Laconia; 2 daughters Wilma M. Davis of Laconia and Janice F. Snow of Tucson, AZ.; 4 grandchildren Lila (Roger) Laraway of Laconia, Lynn A. Brazeau of Laconia, Matthew T. Snow of Richmond, VA., and Steven C. Snow of Tucson, AZ.; 4 great-grandchildren and several cousins.
Calling hours will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia Thursday February, 20, 2003 from 7: 00 to 8:30 PM using the Carriage House entrance.
Services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Victoria Wood Parrish, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Spring burial will be in Union Cemetery, Laconia.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church PO Box 7408, Gilford, NH 03247-7408, or the St. Francis Home Activities Fund 406 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246, or the charity of ones choice.
