Gilford--- Louise Pacelli, 92, of Upland Drive Gilford, NH and formerly of Hamden, CT., died in Laconia, Saturday February 26, 2005. She was the widow of Salvatore Pacelli.
Mrs. Pacelli was born February 22, 1913 in Hamden, CT. the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Volpe) Marro. She was a life long resident of Hamden until recently moving to Gilford to live with a nephew James Blackie and his wife Barbara and children Alexandria and James "Jamie" Blackie, III all of Gilford.
She was employed by the former Lesnow's and DNI Shirt Shop and was the proprietor of the former Lou's Novelty Shop.
Survivors include nephews James Blackie, Frank Barretta, Joseph Barretta and Anthony Marro; nieces Arline Greco, Marie Parcella, Marie Bonfiglio, Louise Apicella, Joanne Ansaldo, Carol Julianelle and Kathleen Beisel and several great-nephews and great-nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and brothers Michael, Anthony, Ralph and Joseph Marro and her sisters Lucy Greco, Anna Barretta and Margaret Blackie.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday March 1, 2005 from 6-8 PM at the Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden Conn.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church, Hamden, Conn. Wednesday March 2, 2005 at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven, Conn.
