Belmont-----Russell “Russ” D. Davis, Sr., 52, of 187 Laconia Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Saturday, February 3, 2007.
Russ was born October 15, 1954 in Laconia, NH, the son of Wesley and L. Patricia (Lallier) Davis and was a life long resident of the Lakes Region.
Russ was employed at Webster Valve in Franklin for twenty-eight years, drove tractor trailer for NASCAR for five years and was owner of Davis Cycle in Belmont.
Russ enjoyed tubing with his grandchildren. He loved snowmobiling, NASCAR, long rides on his motorcycle, eagles and kickstand. His family will always remember the good times.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara ‘Bobbie” (Gherlone) Davis of Belmont; His mother and step-father, Pat and Ray Trudeau of Belmont; two sons, Russell D. Davis, Jr. and his wife, Sherri, and Nicholas J. Davis all of Belmont; two grandchildren, Alec R. Davis and Damon R. Davis, both of Belmont; two sisters, Beverly Elliott of Rochester and Sandra Sanborn of Farmington and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Wesley A. Davis, Sr. and by a brother, Wesley A. Davis Jr.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 1:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
