Moultonboro-----Gayla Dawn (Jennings) Watson, 50, of 118 Winaukee Road, precious wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at home with family at her side.
Gayla was born November 27, 1956 in Escondido, California the daughter of Almer D. and Ida Marie (Jones) Jennings. She was one of ten children and the baby of the family. She attended Noble High School in Noble, Oklahoma.
She was employed as a CNA at Genesis Eldercare Network-Laconia Center for many years.
Gayla and her husband, Jeff, celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary.
Gayla was a selfless, kind and gentle spirit. We all loved her as she loved us and thank God for the time shared. She made the world a more loving place, and we are all better for having known her.
Gayla’s family was her life and she and her husband were so very proud of them all. Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey D. Watson, of Moultonboro, NH; two sons, Ty Ryan Watson and Travis Lee Watson, both of Moultonboro, NH; a daughter, Traci Dawn Boren, and her husband, Chris, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her only grandchild, Quinn Boren of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three brothers, Danny W. Harrison, and his wife, Mookie, and family and Durand Jennings and his wife, Bev, and family and Michael Jennings and family; three sisters, Janice McGuirk and her husband, Ernie, and family, Delores Rammer and her husband, Big Bobby, and family and Kathy Molinaro and her life partner, Cindy Lewis, and family and many nephews and nieces as well as great and great, great nieces and nephews, especially beloved to her was her “Tawny”. Gayla was also blessed with her other family, the Watsons; mother and father, dear Dan and Eda Watson, sister, Kathy Lawrence, and family, brother, Jack Watson with wife, Michelle, and family, brother, Steven Watson, and family, brother, Jack Watson, with wife, Michelle, and family, brother, Steven Watson, with wife, Rachel, and family and sister, Amy Watson. In addition to her parents and infant son, she was predeceased by three brothers, Gerald Harrison, Bobby Harrison and AD Jennings Jr.
Thank you to all her friends, especially those at Genesis Eldercare and lifelong friends, Deb Ambrose and Vicki Bennett. Thank you, Nancy Dicey, for taking such good care of our Gayla during her illness.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Horne, pastor of The Bible Speaks in Laconia, will officiate.
` Spring burial will be held in Moultonboro.
