Myrtle Beach, SC-----Mary K. Bannan, 59, died at her sister’s home on Monday, February 12, 2007.  She was the widow of James J. Bannan who died in 2005.

Mrs. Bannan was born April 18, 1947 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of J. Thomas and Eleanor (Gareis) McGuire.  She lived in Miami, Florida from 1970-2002 and then moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where she lived until moving to Rumney, NH in 2006.

Mrs. Bannan did free lance court reporting and editing for thirty years before retiring in 2001.

Mrs. Bannan is survived by her brother, Patrick McGuire, of Ellicott City, MD; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Charles Oglebay of Rumney, NH and by a niece and four nephews.  In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Barbara McGuire.

According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
