Frances L. Gilbert

Meredith-----Frances L. Gilbert, 91, formerly of Lake Breeze Mobile Home Park, Gilford and 25 Union Avenue, Laconia, died at the Golden View Health Care Center, Meredith on Thursday, February 4, 2010. Mrs. Gilbert was the widow of Joseph L. Gilbert who died in February, 1986.
Mrs. Gilbert was born June 8, 1918 in Lisbon, N.H., the daughter of John H. and Gertrude C. (Wilmot) Tarris. She lived most of her life in the Laconia/Gilford area.
Survivors include a son, Thomas J. Gilbert, of Gilmanton; three daughters, Janice L. Fournier of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Mary Sorrell of Lakeport and Barbara Dionne of Laconia; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Beverly J. Varney, of Georgia and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Gilbert was predeceased by a brother, Arthur R. Tarris, and by two sisters, Ruth P. Delisle and Mary Patten.
There are no calling hours or funeral services.
Burial will be in the spring in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia.
