Laconia-----Flora E. Fowler, 91, formerly of 2 Pear Street, Lakeport, died at Presidential Oaks, Concord, NH on Friday, February 6, 2004.
Miss Fowler was born October 8, 1912 in Woodstock, NH. She graduated from the Lincoln (NH) High School in 1932 and was a member of the West Thornton Methodist Church. She was a member of the Esther Rebekah Lodge #9, Encampment Past Chief Matriarch 7th Degree-Campton-Thornton Grange. In 1943 she moved to Lakeport, NH and worked in the office of Scott & Williams for many years, retiring in 1974.
Miss Fowler is survived by numerous nephews and nieces and by two cousins, Fern Green of Weirs Beach, NH and Ruth Desmond of Maine. She was predeceased by a brother, Edgar E. Fowler in 1990 and by a cousin, Joyce Martens in 2000.
According to Miss Fowler's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the family lot Blair Cemetery, Campton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Presidential Oaks, 200 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
