Gilford-----Mrs. Viola Elliott, 80, of 29 Old Lakeshore Road, died at Genesis Eldercare-Laconia Center, on Wednesday, February 4, 2004.
Mrs. Elliott was born May 24, 1923 in Newport, NH, the daughter of Herbert and Lillian (Hooper) Tellor. She resided in Newport for several years before moving to Gilford forty-five years ago.
Mrs. Elliott and her husband would have celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in July, 2004. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting and Native American pictures.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley C. Elliott of Gilford, NH; a daughter, Brenda Pantaleo, of Franklin, NH; two sons, Dave Elliott of Meredith, NH and Joe Elliott of Laconia, NH; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Tellor, Jr. of Newport, NH; three sisters, Louise Bassett of Vermont, Dorothy Tellor of Newport, NH and June Merchant of Franklin, NH and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Frederick Elliott in 2000 and by a sister, Rose.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday, February 6, 2004 from 7:00-9:00PM in the Chapel of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, Laconia, NH. Please use the Whipple Avenue entrance of the Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 10:00AM also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the family lot at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia following the service.
