Gilford----Clark D. Engle, 59, of Gilford, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Wednesday, February 4, 2004.
Mr. Engle was born November 5, 1944 in Chestertown, PA, the son of Carl R. & Mary R. (Lang) Engle.
Mr. Engle lived in Pennsylvania for several years. He was a graduate of Long Island University, Long Island, NY. He had been a resident of the Lakes Region since 1966. He was self employed as a real estate broker and appraiser in the Lakes Region for many years.
Mr. Engle is survived by his wife, Gail A. (Beattie) Engle, of Gilford and by several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2004 from 7:00-9:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 1:00PM also at the Funeral Home. Rev. George Hankins-Hull, Spiritual Care Coordinator at Lakes Region General Hospital will officiate
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
