Laconia-----Norman R. Tefft, Jr., 51, of 92 Valley Street, Lakeport, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, January 8, 2003.
Mr. Tefft was born September 12, 1951 in Laconia, NH, the son of Norman R. and Barbara (Adams) Tefft, Sr.
Mr. Tefft was raised in Laconia and graduated from Laconia High School in 1969. He lived in Manchester for several years before moving back to Laconia a year ago. At the time of his death, he was employed at the Laconia Electric Supply Inc.
Mr. Tefft was a former scout master. He enjoyed skiing, Harley- Davidsons and loved to play cribbage.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen A. (Hardy) Tefft of Laconia; three daughters, Lauren Tefft of Laconia, Erin Tefft of Penacook, NH and Jessica Crowder of Orlando, Florida; two grandsons, Jordan and Sean; two sisters, Sylvia Asselin of Ventura, CA and Norrine Nixon of Loudon, NH; and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his father, Norman R.Tefft, Sr., in 1981 and by his mother, Barbara (Adams) Tefft, in 2000.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
