Belmont, NH---------Robert "Bob" A. Olson, 58, of 29 Sunshine Drive, died at his home on Monday, January 5, 2004.
Mr. Olson was born August 15, 1945 in Concord, NH, the son of Gunner T. & Emily B. (Hall) Olson. He lived in Oregon for several years before moving to Belmont, NH two years ago.
Mr. Olson was a sergeant in the U. S. Air Force for four years and was a loan officer for the Merchants National Bank in Manchester, NH for several years.
Mr. Olson enjoyed coin collecting, leather crafting, hunting, fishing and gold panning.
Mr. Olson is survived by his wife, Eleanora M. (Brackett) Olson of Belmont, NH; four brothers, Theodore G. Olson of Franklin, NH, Richard H. Olson of Jaffrey, NH, Donald W. Olson of Massachusetts and Jonathan D. Olson of Virginia; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2004 from 1-3 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 3:00PM also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the family lot at Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
